Rockwell Automation Adds New Features to Programming Software for Allen-Bradley ControlLogix Platform
RSLogix 5000 version 2.10 significantly enhances programming, support and diagnostic
capabilities of ControlLogix system
MILWAUKEE, March 15, 1999 - Complete automation leader Rockwell Automation has
announced the availability of version 2.10 of the Rockwell Software RSLogix 5000 PLC
programming software. RSLogix 5000 is an example of Rockwell Automation's integrated
platform strategy. It supports the Allen-Bradley ControlLogix
architecture and Logix5550
processor, is based on IEC1131-3 standards, and has improved features to decrease
development and debug time, merge data with other applications and integrate with third-party
Microsoft®-based applications.
RSLogix 5000 2.10 additions such as data descriptors and search/replace
functions improve the overall capabilities of the ControlLogix system.
Projects created in any of Rockwell Software's previous programming products can be
migrated to RSLogix, allowing users to protect investments and decrease development time.
In addition, RSLogix 5000 2.10 includes other new features that expand the
versatility of the ControlLogix system, including:
